how does coolsculpting work?
CoolSculpting Elite uses controlled cooling to freeze and eliminate fat cells. The frozen fat cells crystallize and die, then are naturally processed and eliminated by your body over the following weeks and months. Once the fat cells are gone, they're gone for good, resulting in permanent fat reduction.
how does emsculpt work?
Emsculpt uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to induce powerful muscle contractions that are beyond what's achievable through voluntary exercise. These supramaximal contractions force the muscle tissue to adapt, leading to simultaneous muscle building and fat burning.
is there any downtime?
No downtime is required for either treatment. CoolSculpting Elite allows you to return to normal activities immediately after treatment. Some patients experience temporary numbness, redness, or mild discomfort that resolves quickly. Emsculpt has no downtime, though some patients experience mild muscle soreness, similar to an intense workout, which typically resolves within 1-2 days.
how many treatments will i need?
CoolSculpting Elite: Most patients see desired results with 1-2 treatments per area. Treatment plans are customized based on your goals and the amount of fat in each area.
Emsculpt: Most patients need four treatments scheduled 5-10 days apart for optimal results. The exact number may vary based on your goals and the treatment area.
